UNIVERSITY RELATIONS SPECIALIST

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced University Relations Specialist to join our team.

What will be your main responsibilities in the role?
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions in the Czech and Slovak Republic. Build talent pipelines by executing strategic partnerships with universities.
  • Involves coordinating and executing various programs and initiatives aimed at attracting top talent from academic institutions.
  • Will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and align university engagement strategies accordingly.
  • Will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a deep understanding of the academic landscape, and a passion for fostering educational partnerships.
  • Key responsibilities include planning and attending career fairs, organizing on-campus recruitment events, doing presentations at school, organizing onsite events and building long-term relationships with university faculty and career services,
  • Should also partner with the PR team to promote and advertise the university relations programs and increase visibility of onsemi at schools via multiple channels.
  • The role also involves tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of university relations programs and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
What are the requirements? / What about you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in recruitment and in university relations is advantage.
  • Proficiency in Czech and English language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the academic landscape and university recruitment processes.
  • Ability to travel frequently for on-campus events and meetings in Czech and Slovak Republic.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, results driven and flexible
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies.
  • Experience in a US multinational is a plus

  • Homeworking: Selected employees can work from home. It must be approved by the manager and local HR, for defined cases and for limited periods. It can be a one-time action or regular home working.
  • Meal Subsidy: Company canteen and meal subsidy on an average of 116 CZK per lunch taken in the company canteen.
  • Sports and Cultural Activities Support: The employee receives an annual contribution for culture and sports activities of approximately 2000 CZK per employee per year. The employee becomes eligible after the probation period.
  • English: You will have a chance to attend company English language courses and utilize your knowledge at your daily job.
