SiC Design Layout Engineer
Place of work: Rožnov pod Radhoštěm
As a Design-Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our SiC power device portfolio. Primary focus will be on designing and automating layout, ensuring efficient product creation, and contributing to the overall success of our SiC product family.
What will be your main responsibilities in the role?
- Design and develop SiC power devices, layout and verification.
- Conduct layout work, ensuring adherence to design rules and process constraints.
- Develop and test layout automation tools in Cadence to streamline the design process.
- Work as member of cross-functional teams developing top class SiC technologies.
- Cooperation with new product development and application teams to deliver products designed based on customer requirements.
- Document design processes and results for knowledge sharing and future reference.
What are the requirements? / What about you?
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or IT
- Knowledge of microelectronics and semiconductor physics
- Knowledge of CAD tools (knowledge of IC design tools as Cadence, Mentor is advantage)
- Basic knowledge of LINUX environment
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Tcl, or Skill) for automation is advantage
- Good written and spoken English (B1 level is a minimum)
- Accurate and systematic work, self-verification of results, team player
- Position is suitable for absolvents

- Accommodation support: For employees who decided to relocate from a different region, the company contributes to home rent during the first four years of employment or the company contributes to mortgage payments for those who decided to buy their home.
