
Cloud DevOps Engineer – remote work possible
Place of work: Rožnov pod Radhoštěm – remote work possible
What will be your main responsibilities in the role?
- Building and setting up infrastructure in AWS.
- Working on ways to improve automations, development and release processes.
- Monitor and maintain stable operation of our environments – identifying technical problems and ensuring that systems are safe and up to date.
- Collaborating with software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
- Deliver Technical documentation.
- Actively monitor new trends and business functionalities of the system.
Our technology stack:
- Compute in public cloud – AWS.
- Linux, CI/CD (Jenkins), Git.
- PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch.
Infrastructure as a Code principle (Packer, Terraform).
What are the requirements?
- At least 2 years of experience as Cloud or DevOps engineer.
- Good knowledge of Linux, Bash scripting and Python.
- Experience with system configuration automation tools such as Terraform.
- Communicate comfortably in Czech and English to support our engineers and customers.
- Be comfortable with an on-call duty in a distributed team.
- You are not afraid to come up with your own ideas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience with Java or C#.
- Familiar with Apache toolset – Tomcat, Apache.
